Lumecca is an IPL (intense pulsed light) device that emits intense pulsed light for the treatment of pigmented and vascular lesions (spots and capillaries), as well as for the improvement of skin texture due to the stimulation of collagen production. Lumecca is currently the MOST POWERFUL IPL SYSTEM that makes the skin more even and radiantt, in a much faster and more effective way than any other IPL treatment. The device uses light of a certain wavelength that targets red and brown colours, heats the pigment and gradually destroys it.

How many treatments are needed?

With 1-3 treatments, it is possible to improve the condition of skin damaged by the sun (photofacial) and eliminate:

ascular lesions (capillaries)
rosacea (redness)

Which regions are treated?

Lumecca can be used on all parts of the face and body. The most common treatment areas are the zones that are regularly exposed to the sun: face, neck, décolletage, legs, arms and hands.

Is the procedure painful?

Thanks to a special cooling mechanism, the procedure is painless.

How will I look after the treatment?

Slight redness and a feeling of warmth are normal after treatment and disappear within an hour. After 24-48 hours, the spots become somewhat more intense, brown in color, and after a few days they simply fall off and the skin as a whole looks more beautiful and brighter.
After treating vascular lesions, redness may intensify and last for 1-2 days. The capillaries themselves may become more pronounced, which recedes after a few days or may even disappear during the treatment itself.
Make-up can be applied immediately after the treatment, and there is no recovery period.

How long will it take me to see the result?

An improvement in complexion and brighter skin is visible immediately after the treatment. The complexion is clearer, the skin continuously looks more radiant and rejuvenated. Actual visible results, in terms of reduction in intensity of redness, elimination of capillaries and spots, are achieved after 1-2 weeks.

How to prepare for the treatment?

One month before the treatment, the skin must not be exposed to the sun / solarium. If you use retinol-based products, you should stop using them 7-14 days before the treatment. After the procedure, you must apply sun protection cream (SPF 30-50) for the next six weeks.
